Viewing Your Tires and Their Rotation Records
EZM Web fleet maintenance software also has a feature that allows you to
track tire rotation and use for tire maintenance. On this page you can see
all of the tires you are tracking:
For each tire listed, its name, its condition, and its size are
shown.
If you select a tire, you can see the rotation records for that tire, which
are shown at the bottom of the above illustration. The rotation records show
the following information:
- On what vehicle in your fleet the tire was located.
- What position on the vehicle the tire was located
(i.e. "left front", "right rear", etc.)
- The starting mileage when the tire was put in that
position.
- The ending mileage when the tire was rotated out of
that position.
- The mileage during which the tire was in that
position (end mileage minus starting mileage).
- The total accumulated miles for the tire.
- And the condition of the tire in each position.
You can also print a report that shows the rotation records for a given
tire:
Entering New Tires
To enter a new tire, you just click on the NEW button and another page opens
where you enter the information about the new tire:
Tire Ratings System
You can also enter a tire ratings system, which is typically used to track
the condition of a tire. The ratings system is custom made by you; you
choose the names by which you rate your tires. Here you see the page at
which you enter the ratings system:
Tire Position Names
Because not all vehicles in your fleet will necessarily have four wheels,
you can choose your own tire position naming system in EZM Web which you use
to specify the positions of tires on vehicles:
