Work Orders
When a work order is created in EZ Maintenance Web, all of the vehicle details and the work order number are automatically filled in. Customer details are also filled in automatically if you are servicing the vehicle for a customer.
Details about the materials and replacement parts used in the maintenance as well as the operations performed can also be changed once the work order is created.

Other important portions of the work order include:

Notes & Exceptions Fields: These allow the supervisor to document any additional information or if there were any variances, such as if a particular part or operation was not included as usually prescribed. Both fields accept a great deal of typed information for precise note sharing.

Performed By: The person who actually performed the maintenance signs off here. This establishes accountability for the vehicle service history.

Approved By: Only a supervisor with the proper password may sign off or close a Work Order.

Assigned To: allows a manager to assign the work order to a specific employee. Like the approval field, supervisors and only supervisors can assign a work order.

Labor Hours, Labor Cost, Vehicle Down Time, and Materials Cost: These are entered by the supervisor closing out the Work Order.

Printing the Work Orders: The work order can be printed in four different ways. It can be a complete report that details all materials, operations, or parts. Or it can include just one of those three.
